Jackson County Economic Development Foundation releases plan to grow innovation

JACKSON COUNTY, Mississippi — The Jackson County Economic Development Foundation (JCEDF) this week presented its recently-completed Strategic Innovation Plan to an audience of community stakeholders, local employers, elected officials, and other citizens.

This presentation reflects more than a year’s worth of research and analysis by the JCEDF, a local advisory committee, and a nationally-recognized consulting firm which assisted the foundation in preparing this plan to grow the innovation economy by capitalizing on existing assets, including the strong defense and manufacturing sectors, the county’s vast natural resources, and high quality of life.
