Kings County has $500,000 in grants for business’s digital marketing

Kings County has announced the allocation of up to $500,000 in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funding, approved by the County Board of Supervisors on July 12.

The funding comes from Kings County’s allocation of $29.7 million from the ARPA’s $65.1 billion in direct, flexible aid offered to every county in the country.

The $500,000 will be distributed to Avenal ($45,000), Corcoran ($75,000), Hanford ($185,000), Lemoore ($85,000) and unincorporated areas of Kings county ($110,000) based on population.

Applicants must maintain a current and valid business license, have 100 or fewer full-time employees and have been in operation prior to March 15, 2020 to be eligible for the grant. This program considers full-time employees to be working 40 hours per week,…
