Oceanside medical office property trades for $11M

A recently constructed medical office property in Oceanside has sold for $11 million. 

Jericho-based Carco Builders, a family-owned real estate investment and development firm, purchased the 14,500-square-foot building on 1 acre at 2860 Long Beach Road. 

The property, formerly a funeral home, was recently redeveloped into a medical office building. It is fully occupied by two tenants, OCLI Vision and Pro Health Dental. 

Mark Walsh and John Thomas of Select Real Equity Advisors represented the buyer, while Stephen Preuss, Kevin Schmitz, Kevin Louie and Andreas Efthymiou of RIPCO Real Estate represented the seller, Basser-Kaufman, in the sales transaction. 

“This sale shows the continued strength of the medical office sector on Long Island,” Walsh and Thomas said. “The property was recently repurposed into a modern, Class A medical building to meet increasing demand for medical office space here.”
